Dosen-Zentrale Züchner GmbH is a wholesaler for tin, glass and plastic packaging. Based on more than 200 years of company and family history, today they are the link between well-known packaging manufacturers and customers from the retail, food trade, gastronomy and industrial filling sectors.

Thus, at the end of 2020, a cooperation with one of the internationally leading manufacturers in the field of glass products for gastronomic needs - the company LUIGI BORMIOLI Italy - came into being.

The online shop previously operated by LUIGI BORMIOLI was to be discontinued at short notice for internal company reasons. At this point, Dosen-Zentrale Züchner GmbH took over the administration of the online shop, developed it further and decided to implement a completely new shop software.

The company wanted a multilingual online shop that would allow maximum flexibility and provide customers with the ideal shopping experience. In addition to a clear product presentation, editorial content was also to be displayed. Furthermore, the shop should be able to serve customers from the B2C and B2B sectors equally.

Shopware 6

Creation of the online shop with the open source eCommerce platform Shopware 6, which is tailored to both the B2B and B2C sectors.

Responsive

Implementation of a responsive web design so that the content is automatically scaled to fit all end devices and is displayed ideally throughout.

Performant

During the implementation, special attention was paid to fast loading times on all end devices. Various mechanisms and services were implemented for this purpose.
